About the Mathis Guild
Founded in 1961 as the Dr. Maurice S. Mathis Guild, the Mathis Guild was created by community members committed to supporting our local hospital. Over the decades, the Guild has continuously contributed to strengthen healthcare services in Kitsap County.

While the hospital has grown, changed names, and evolved through affiliations, the Guild’s mission has remained constant. In 2026, it re-established itself as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, continuing its tradition of local leadership, fundraising, and community support.
Our work extends beyond fundraising. Members actively engage with the community, raising awareness about critical healthcare needs and inviting community members to take part in meaningful philanthropy. The Guild brings people together to ensure that every gift has a meaningful impact.
